Your 10 steps to a successful blog

When first time I decided to launch a blog , I was very excited to write about my experience on some certain things and my knowledge , as everybody else who's just about to start blogging .

So either you're just blogging for blogging or you intend to make money from your blog , a successful blog is what you aim to . A successful blog is not easy to reach , and the ways differ from a blog to other and blogger to other , but make sure you'll never have a successful blog if there's no great content . It all depends on content , content and content . A great content is the key ingrediant for a successful blog .

As I already said , ways to have a successful blog depends on your blog and you as well , but here's a list of steps you generally need to follow in order to take your blog to the next levels . Let's go : 

     1 - what your blog is going to be about : It's the most important decision in order to start the right way . focus on things you know , and things your visitors like , and make sure all your posts are about a certain topic . For example if you're on a blog about Technology , you can't find "how to get a girlfriend " , if you did be sure you're in the wrong place . In the beginning you might have a broad subject , but as long as you gain more experience know what your visitors want , you'll become more focused . 

     2- Your blog name : Remember that people know your blog by its name , therfore this name has to be memorable , easy to spell and it's better to include a keyword of what's your going to blog about .  For example this blog is about how to make money online , and as you see it has those 2 keywords in it , so try to add some keywords on your blog name .

     3- get a good blog design : Your blog design and theme is one of the important keys to make it successful . The design is the first impression that people get when they first visit your blog ,before they read what's in there , the theme gives an image about your blog . Poeple get attracted by colours , so try to make your design more lovely and easy to surf , don't make it very colorful , remember the most successful websites and blogs don't have a lot of colours facebook and twitter  for example .
      4-Keep active : Don't just throw some posts and leave your blog , be sure you won't reach success . that doesn't mean you have to be active all the time or post everyday , no , there are many successful blogs where authors post once a week . You need just to post whenever you have something to talk about , and make it as short as you can . 

      5-How good is your content : nowdays , every single topic or subject is already talked about on the net which means there's a big competition in every topic you decided to start your blog about , anything you saw on a website or a blog make sure there are hundreds of thousands of blogs who already said something about it  . So why some of them are successful blogs and other are not and  what's the key then ? Good content is the key , and I mean by good content , being special on your posts  , don't post to tell people how to do something , post to tell them how to do this thing very well , choose simple words and simple style to send your message , try to put your own tone on the articles .

      6-Search Engine Optimisation ( aka SEO ) : it's a very important thing either , without optimizng your posts to search engines (Google , Yahoo , Bing .. ) , you won't have much traffic and visitors . Make sure to use keywords on the tittle of the article and repeated within the article , at least at the first and the last paragraph . 

      7-Social media buttons and widgets : we all know how much social media websites are important in our daily life like Facebook ,twitter,Google Plus ...  so profit from the benefits of these websites and install buttons and widgets to let your readers share your content with their friends , which help bring more traffic , and a good traffic is important for a successful             blog . 

       8-Speed up your blog loading time : people won't like your blog if whenever they want to check something in there , they have to wait for ages , they'll just exit and look somewhere else and that will affect your blog traffic for sure . So make sure your blog pages load as fast as possible in order to let people surf on your blog easily . 

       9-Install google web analytics : This will help you measure every single thing about your blog that will let you know when to change your bringing traffic tips , your blogging strategies ... 

        10-PATIENCE : Remember every business that had success , had surely times of struggling before reaching success .
